Complete HVAC systems for a renovated 2 floor office and laboratory building.

Phoenix Mechanical produced complete 3D coordination drawings for this project.
Office and Laboratory areas are conditioned by a Variable Air Volume system utilizing (6) rooftop air handling units with a total air capacity of 142,000 CFM. Cooling for the AH units is provided by (2) 800 ton capacity water-cooled chillers. Exhaust air for the laboratories is provided by (3) 25,000 CFM exhaust fans.
Approximately (250) terminal units control the amount of conditioned air to and return air from the office and laboratory areas. Supply terminal units are equipped with hot water coils. Hot water for the terminal units is produced by (3) 4,000 MBH boilers via a steel and copper pipe distribution system.
HVAC system includes a completely factory-fabricated chiller plant which includes chillers, cooling towers, pumps and specialties, VSDs, and piping.
