PROJECT INFORMATION
Phoenix Mechanical Contracting Inc. provided a complete mechanical system installation for the new executive offices at GCP Applied Technologies in Cambridge, MA. The Cambridge location now serves as the company’s world headquarters.
HVAC SYSTEM
The system consists of (2) twenty ton, air cooled VAV rooftop units serving a combination of single duct terminal units and series fan powered terminal units, each with hot water reheat. A steam to hot water heat exchanger with a capacity of 1,200MBH and completely new hydronic distribution system with VFD control provides the hot water to the VAV system’s reheat coils. A new DDC system was furnished and completely integrated into the existing BMS system on the GCP campus.
